HINT OF TRADITIONAL

A hint of traditional creates harmony in a contemporary home. In this bright and minimal powder bathroom, we opted for café curtains to outfit the window. Using a soft, bright, flowy linen by Kerry Joyce, on a thin black rod hung with black rings, it’s the perfect accent to the brushed satin finishes.

Who said mixing metals wasn’t a thing? Note the brass mirror, nickel plumbing fixtures and knobs, and black accents on the window, door handle, and drapery hardware. One of our approaches to creating a timeless space: too "match-y" can look trendy after time.

To the left of the powder bathroom is the laundry room. With these spaces side by side, the windows are identical from the interior and exterior. Thus, we chose to go with café curtains for both.
