MOUNTAIN RETREAT

Atop the magnificent Sierra Nevada mountains rests an incredible retreat with expansive panoramic views in the enchanting city of South Lake Tahoe. The design honors the architecture of this modern dwelling, which embodies the essence of its surroundings: mountain ranges, deemed by some to be the most beautiful in the world. The materials and palette encompass the colors and textures of the natural elements nearby, adding longevity.

The large windows boast landscape scenery with a perfect view of the sunset. A soft, yet moody, sage green plays well with the natural hardwood flooring and creamy walls. Shaker style cabinetry with an interior bevel and brushed nickel hardware add a traditional hint to the dreamy space. Keeping in tune with the raw, organic feel of the exterior, the polished granite countertops have the perfect mixture of earthy tones. Always designing inclusively for our furry friends, sweet Penny adores her custom built-in hosting two doggy bowls.

Details of the wrought iron and clear glass pendant globes for an understated, yet purposeful finishing touch. We wanted to create a sanctuary within the kitchen of this exceptional family home.
